As Ive said my name is Sarah Fields, Im a freshman at WSU and from Seattle Washington originally then moved to a small town called Edmonds Wa. A few things about me that are honestly not too original are that I love my dog, my friends and ofc my family!! This is me here on right, the girl on the left is my best friend and also my roommate.

The purpose of this blog is to track my day to day experiences with greek life and being in a sorority.
The fact is that joining a sorority is an absolute wild ride from being to end. I plan on keeping you all updated throughout the process that everyone swear by. If I end up finding my life long sisters and future brides maids you will be the first to know.
Like I said before the most important things in my life are my family and friends. I have 2 loving amazing parents who would do anything for me. My dad is actually really into mountain climbing and ever since I was little has taken m e with him on trips that most adults would be proud to say they have accomplished. My mom on the other hand is less into climbing but happens to be a real angel on earth. She is the sweetest human I’ve ever met and her Southern charm never fails to make anyone feel right at home. I also have a little sister who is 16 years old. When we were young we were best friends and she looked up to me in every way. Like most sisters as we grew up we argued about everything like stealing clothes and make up and everything in-between. There is truly no one who can trigger you in the way a sibling can. As of now we are still very close and I miss her lots. The people I miss the most though have to be my dog and my grandma. My dog is a rescue and has some issues but he is my vey best friend. He is protective over me and I am thankful for that, but I am not thankful for how aggressive he is. He actually killed my sisters bunny witch was really bad. Besides him that leaves us with my grandma. My grandma is like no one I have ever met before. She would literally die for anyone she loves, she devotes 100% of her time to her children and grandchildren. She paid for my college tuition and spoils me way too much on the side.

Something else that is very near and dear to my heart is working with children. I am the oldest of 15 cousins and have been playing mom on every vacation, every holiday since I was like 10. because of this I have always felt like working with kids was something I’m good at. The summer job I’ve had for the past 3 years is working at a kids camp called beach camp. It’s like 30 min from where I live and it is honestly a place like nothing else I’ve ever seen. I mean this in a good and bad way. Beach camp is built on an old doc, next to the train tracks, everything is held together by duct tape and the whole thing is ran by college kids. There are virtually no rules when it comes to safety and thats what makes it so fun I think. I’m genuinely surprised there have been no serious accidentally especially since the old and original owner was drunk 70% of the time. That is definitely one of my happy places and I really hope I get to go back.

When it comes to my career goals I will be honest here I really don’t know what I want to do in life. My current major is psychology and I think that could be super interesting. My mom is a counselor for families and while that can be a hard job it is one that makes you like you are doing something good for the world. I think it would be super cool to be a counselor for really rich people though so I can actually make good money. The other major I was considering is advertising, I am a very creative person and it really interests me like what makes people purchase the things they do and how can you market the best way to your predicted audience. Along with that if I could do some of the actual creative parts of advertising like graphic design I would love that because I am good at art and love to create things.
